About Me

I am a Teacher-librarian at John Pritchard School in Winnipeg, MB Canada. I work with kindergarten through Senior 1 students. I am employed by the River East Transcona School Division.

I am presently working on my Masters of Education in Teacher-librarianship through distance education at the University of Alberta.

Purpose of the Site

The purpose of this site is to familiarize students, parents, teachers & teacher-librarians with Comics and Graphic Novels as legitimate pleasure reading and teaching and learning tools. Comics & Graphic Novels are not just for kids. There is a broad spectrum of genres encompassing every age group and area of interest.
