Jane Tallim, Education Coordinator for the Media Awareness Network, mother of  4 and a former high school Language Art teacher has spent years exploring the internet to find ways to keep her students and her own children safe on the internet while also considering how to teach them to take advantage of the many great benefits it has to offer. Ms Tallim and her colleagues have created an excellent website for internet awareness with a special site called Web Awareness devoted to helping parents, teachers and librarians teach children of all ages how to use the Internet safely and wisely.  One of these sites, Web Awareness, provides a series of outstanding training workshops  which are available to parents, librarians and teachers all over the world, the other site is only available to teachers who are registered to undertake the teacher-training program called Web Awareness.
